Gates and camping open, and the gathering begins to take shape. A gentle first evening, building to a welcome you'll feel in your chest.

Opening Ceremony

A few words, a shared toast, and the story of how Making Hay came to be — Pete's history, told his way.

Late-Night Folk Session & DJ Set

The Jam Jar opens for an informal session, with a late DJ set in The Barn to close the night.

The full programme comes alive: music, writing, wellbeing and the immersive album experience, building to the first ceilidh of the weekend.

Gentle morning yoga and breathwork to ease into the day.

The Word: Writers & Readings

Conversations about books and creativity, readings, and a "bring your unfinished book" session.

This Is The Fire — Album Experience

Pete Lawrence and Oskar Vizan talk track-by-track through the album, with a live performance of selected songs.

Main Stage: Friday Night Music

Folk bands and special collaborations on The Garden stage.

Ceilidh in The Barn & Jam Sessions

A full ceilidh, live band and all, followed by open sessions in The Jam Jar for anyone with an instrument.

SaturdayCelebration & Wedding

The emotional heart of the weekend. A quieter morning gives way to Pete and Lizi's handfasting, a wedding feast, and a party that runs long into the night.

A gentle start at The Well and quiet creative sessions across the site.

Build-Up

A soft landing. Slow mornings, one last concert, a closing circle, and the goodbyes that always take longer than you plan.
